I found that there is a huge gap between psychologists and ordinary dreamers. If a dreamer was looking for a simple response/answer, mostly for the comfort, he will find it really frustrated that the information is either too complex to contemplate, for example, those books of dream interpretation in the library, or too simple/inconvincible to apply to his dream, like the funny tutorial video clips on Youtube. Worst of all, either searching for one side of information or another, the process is time-consuming and exhausting since there is simply too much information too filter. Why can’t the process of search answers as simple as what we will do when we want a coke or our daily groceries? Why can’t it be convenient and friendly? Another problem is that, despite all the researches show that dreams are pictorial; none of the accessible interpretation is graphic-based. Nightmare Installation project Jason Intention/Motivation Last year I had experienced a long period of time that having dreams and nightmares almost every night. I started to wonder that how do people who suffer from their dreams cope with their feelings, and what kind of information is useful for them. I did a little research on the internet and found out that dreaming is such a lonely activity, especially for teenagers and adults who are over the age of telling nightmares to their parents and can’t find a shrink to talk to. They can’t find a proper outlet for dealing with their dreams since the content of their dreams/nightmare is such a private thing. It is embarrassed for an adult to tell their friends that he/she is bothered by his/her own nightmares simply because his/her age might seems to be too old for that. Even if they try, the responses from their friends are rarely helpful since it’s more than often that there is no one having the same experience/proble
